Emergency symptoms go to the ER, not a clinic. Chest pain, a sudden severe headache, one-sided weakness, trouble speaking, or a head injury with vomiting or confusion: call 911 now.

Entry 10 · Rooms

Three rooms, fully specified.

Hazelwood, Tesson Ferry, and O'Fallon, with addresses, phones, and hours exactly as the clinic publishes them. Pick the one you can drive to this week.

Summary of findings

  • Three rooms across the metro: north county, south county, and St. Charles County.
  • Every room closes daily from 12 to 2. Call before noon or after two.
  • The exam is the same in all three: history, exam, findings, written plan.
  • The Lab's rule: drive time this week beats the name on the door.

A protocol is only executable if the addresses are right, so this entry is the least editorial page in the notebook. Three rooms, as published on moinjuryclinic.com, with the Lab's notes on each. Confirm hours on the call; the Lab reproduces what the clinic publishes and cannot promise a schedule it does not control.

The 12 to 2 closure

All three rooms close from noon to two every day. The clinic publishes this as time for meetings. For the caller it means one thing: a call at 12:15 reaches a voicemail and a call at 9:05 reaches a person. Call before noon or after two. If you can only call at lunch, leave a message with your name, a number that reaches you, and the words "crash exam," and expect the call back after two.

How to choose

Drive time this week. That is the whole rule. A neck that hurts to turn, a head that does not like screens, a back that aches after twenty minutes in a seat: none of them want an extra half hour on the interstate. The exam is identical in all three rooms, published as the clinic's auto injury lane, diagnosis and a treatment plan after a crash, run by Joseph L. Hollingsworth, DC. The TBI and concussion lane and the sports injury lane are published as well. Choose the short drive. The first exam protocol tells you what to say when someone picks up.

What the rooms are not

They are not emergency rooms. Chest pain, a sudden severe headache, weakness or numbness on one side, trouble speaking, a loss of bowel or bladder control, or a head injury with vomiting or worsening confusion is an emergency room trip right now, not a call to a clinic. The clinic is built for planned care, and if it sends you to an ER instead of booking you, that is the system working. They are also not law offices. Joseph L. Hollingsworth, DC, is a chiropractor. If you already have an attorney, bring their contact so records can be sent where they need to go; that is the full extent of what this desk has to say about it.
